Little things mean a lot... |
Elizabeth’s Trust was set up to make life a little better for people suffering from cancer. This is achieved not just through the direct nursing care provided by The Elizabeth Hall Centre which is in the North Hampshire Hospital in Basingstoke, but also via funding to help individuals to realise an ambition, or to improve the quality of life for the patient and/or the carer.
 As a registered charity, the Elizabeth Hall Cancer Care Trust is able to claim back a further 28p for every £1 donated where a gift aid form has been signed. So, if you’re doing any fundraising please make sure you give your sponsors the opportunity to fill in the required details.

Making it happen...
Elizabeth’s Trust has funded the installation of stair lifts for three patients, enabling them to spend their final days at home, rather than having to stay in the hospice. In one case this meant a young mother was able to spend her last few weeks at home, over Christmas.
